Education and training
Bee in the Woods aims to tackle social isolation and help families feel better about themselves, each other and their environment through play and engagement with nature.
We believe in the power of nature to bring people together and improve mental & physical health, wellbeing, communities, education and the environment.
Our Nature Kindergarten provides a unique woodland childcare setting where children are nurtured by nature and we offer an exciting range of outdoor programmes for all ages through grant-funded projects in communities and bookable forest school sessions.
Project Eileen is a multi-media project aimed at helping young people tackle the topic of death. The story of Eileen looks at the impact of death on a group of teenagers who are about to take their GCSE exams. Combining original script, animation and music, Project Eileen is designed to go into secondary schools to open up the conversation and help young people develop the necessary skills and resilience to deal with this part of life.
