Community Farm

The Platform’s Community Farm is situated at Stanmer Park, on the outskirts of Brighton. It provides the opportunity for our clients, volunteers and a range of community groups to grow plants and produce on our community plots.
The Farm has nearly eight acres of land which is divided into growing fields, woodland, scenic gardens and a sales yard.
The Farm has activities running throughout the week. There are currently sixteen active community groups making use of the Community Farm land and facilities.
The Platform is looking at ways of increasing revenue making opportunities through the use of the site, through growing produce, running courses and providing ‘Team Challenges’ to businesses.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][mk_blockquote style=”quote-style” font_family=”none” text_size=”12″ align=”left”]

“Through the course I’ve really got into my plants and I’ve started to read books and magazines to learn more”. - Steve
