At The Platform, Action Learning Sets are a powerful way for you to connect with and learn from other social enterprises.

Regular facilitated sessions enable you to work in small groups to address your social enterprises’ strategic challenges, solve real day-to-day problems, take action and reflect on the results.

Every session, each social enterprise will share one challenge they are facing. The group will listen and be guided to work collectively to find creative solutions based on their experience and offer support. You commit to take action between sessions and at the next session you will reflect on and learn from the process before sharing your next challenge. The Action Learning Set will help you to improve your problem-solving process, successfully navigate challenges with the help of your peers and enable you to develop a close network with a group of like-minded social entrepreneurs in the city.

There are two groups running for 3 facilitated sessions

StartUps - For social enterprises in their first 3-years
Established - For social enterprises established for 3 years or more

This booking is for Established Social Entrepreneurs or Enterprises only. Details for the StartUp sets are here.

Participants will commit to all 3 sessions, be open-minded, solution focused, act upon the learning, work cooperatively and be respectful of the confidentiality of their peers.

The sessions will be facilitated by Toby Buckle of Leading the Change.

£60 for all 3 sessions

Fees: A 2% + 99p booking fee is made by Eventbrite.

The cost of season events is subsidised by sponsorship from The Platform.

Other details

The Platform will be measuring the impact of the ALS and so will ask for feedback at various points of the activity.

Cancelation Policy: There is a non-attendance fee of £60 if more than 1 session is missed without valid reason or 1-week notice.
